On May 2nd 1996, Carrog Station re-opened to passengers after being closed for 31 years.

Faithfully restored by the Friends of Carrog volunteers to its former 1950's glory,

we believe it to be the perfect example of an ex-GWR branch-line station.

Here you can enjoy hot and cold drinks and snacks or just sit on one of our replica platform benches in a timeless setting while awaiting your train. If you wish you can leave your comments in our visitors book.

At present Carrog Station is the western terminus of the Llangollen Railway until the opening of the Corwen extension.
